Work It Wednesday {#18}

Welcome back to another Work It Wednesday! Did y’all have a good week while I was away? I don’t mean to brag or anything {ok, maybe just a little…}, but I had literally the best week of my life last week! I don’t think I’ve ever been on a more relaxing and just plain fun vacation. Not to mention, it was awesome being able to hang out with Zachary for a whole two weeks and not have to worry about a thing! The only downside that I can think of is the fact that we both came home a little lot heavier than when we left. Yikes! We’re working on it though.

On our cruise, we stopped at four places – Grand Turks, Puerto Rico, Tortola, and St. Thomas. We loved every second of swimming, snorkeling, and exploring.

Sunrise in Grand Turk. {Don’t mind my crazy dress.}

 Snorkeling in Grand Turk. {This stop turned out to be a lame one for snorkeling. Boo. But the water felt great!}
 My hot husband on our way to the awesome snorkeling spot in St. Thomas. We swam with turtles, sting rays, octopus and lots of fish. It rocked my world!
I’m missing the warm weather a lot. We came back to 25 degrees and a snowstorm. Needless to say, we may or may not already be planning our next cruise. 😉
Anyway, enough about all of that. I just wanted to share my excitement with all of you! If you’ve never been on a cruise or are too nervous to go on one {I was a nervous wreck}, stop worrying and go on one ASAP! It will change your life and the way you feel about vacationing forever :) Ok, really now. Let’s move on to our features from last week, shall we? There were SO many awesome things linked up, it was hard to choose just a few! For starters, this was the number one viewed link last week:
3 Best Furniture Crate Projects from Believe and Inspire.
I’m loving the whole crate trend going on right now. It gives things such a rustic, homey feel! I’ll have to get on some of these for sure! Now, my favorite links from last week are {in no particular order}:
Fabric Strips Skirt from Gingerly Made

Cookies and Cream Popcorn from Simply Living

Skinny Stroganoff from Wifessionals

Lemon Pepper Garlic Pork Loin from Cook and Craft Me Crazy

Heart Wire Ring from NGNRDGRL

Milkaholic Themed Baby Shower from Sweet Pea Pod
Don’t all of these look absolutely amazing! Geez, there are some talented people out there. If you were featured, be sure to grab yourself a featured button here! Now…let’s get down to the nitty gritty. All I ask is that you remember 3 simple rules:

#1 – Link up anything and everything {recipes, crafts, projects, tutorials, etc.} that has been made by you. I don’t care what it is as long as it isn’t a shop, giveaway, advertisement, link party or something of the like.

#2 – Please link back to us in some way, shape, or form. I understand how annoying this can be sometimes, so I’ve made a lovely super ugly button {I know, I’m working on it. Give me some time.} for you to put on your blog. You can also put a text link at the end of your post or even put our link in your party page. Just please give credit where credit is deserved!

High Heels and Grills

#3 – Please please PLEASE don’t link and run. The whole point of a link party is to make connections and friends with people. Put a stop to selfish blogging right now and make someone’s day by commenting on at least two blogs!

If after doing these 3 things, you decide you want to subscribe to us via E-mail,  follow us on Pinterest, like us on Facebook, or follow us onTwitter, I definitely would not object! Thank you all. With that being said, work it friends and show me what you’ve got!!

    Sounds like you had better cruise weather than we did! We just got back from Cozumel and our water excursions were canceled because of the rough seas. It was crazy. Where did you sail out of and what line? We went on a total booze cruise and are looking for something a bit more…sober LOL
