Ingredients

  • 1 cup butter I use salted
  • 1/4 cup white sugar
  • 2 Tbsp brown sugar packed
  • 1 tsp vanilla extract
  • 2 cups all-purpose flour
  • 2 cups chopped pecans
  • Powdered sugar

Instructions

  1. Preheat oven to 375℉.

  2. Cream together the butter, sugar, and brown sugar until light and fluffy.

  3. Add the vanilla and mix well.

  4. Add the flour and pecans into mixture. (The batter might seem separated and crumbly. This is fine.)

  5. Form into 1-inch balls and place on an ungreased cookie sheet.

  6. Bake for 10-13 minutes, or until just beginning to brown on the edges.

  7. Place on a cooling rack and let cool completely.

  8. Pour 1 cup of powdered sugar into a bowl. Once cooled, roll each cookie in the powdered sugar.
