Homemade Thin Mints

No need to miss Girl Scout Cookie season after it's over, when you can whip up a batch of these Homemade Thin Mints yourself! They are minty, crunchy, and only have three ingredients. They taste just like the real thing!

Ingredients

  • 18-24 regular Oreos
  • 16 oz. dipping chocolate {I use Candiquik}
  • 1.5 tsp. peppermint extract

Instructions

  1. Separate the Oreo cookies from the cream and get them as cream-free as you can.
  2. Melt your chocolate according to package directions.

  3. Add the peppermint extract to the chocolate and stir until evenly combined.

  4. Dip an Oreo cookie in the chocolate and place on a sheet of wax paper.
  5. Let sit until chocolate has hardened.
  6. Drizzle leftover chocolate on top of the cookie, if desired.
