Red Robin Bleu Ribbon Copycat

This Red Robin Bleu Ribbon Copycat recipe might just be the best burger combination you could ever have! There is a reason it's so popular!

Ingredients

  • 1 dozen dinner rolls
  • 6 Tbsp blue cheese crumbles
  • 6 Tbsp Heinz 57 steak sauce
  • 1/4 cup mayonnaise
  • 1 chipotle pepper finely chopped
  • 1/2 cup onion straws
  • 2 teaspoon butter
  • 1 lb ground beef
  • salt and pepper
  • garlic salt
  • lettuce
  • 2 roma tomatoes

Instructions

  1. Cut the dinner rolls in half and set aside.

  2. In a small bowl, mix the blue cheese crumbles and Heinz 57 together.

  3. In another small, mix the mayo and chopped chipotle pepper.

  4. Spread about 1 Tbsp of the bleu cheese mixture onto one half of the roll and about 1 tsp of the mayo mixture onto the other half.

  5. Heat your butter in a small skillet until melted. Add the onion straws and stir. Cook on medium high heat for only a minute or so. These WILL burn quickly if your not careful.

  6. Split your ground beef into 12 equal sizes and mold into individual patties. The patties should be slightly larger than the sizes of the rolls, since they will shrink when you cook them.

  7. Season both sides with salt, pepper, and garlic salt to taste.

  8. Heat a large skillet over medium high heat and cook the patties for about 3 minutes, flipping halfway through.

  9. Assemble your burgers onto your dinner roll with the patty, lettuce, onion straws, and tomato. Enjoy!
