Chocolate Cinnamon Bread Pudding

Ingredients

  • 3 Tbsp. butter melted
  • 1/2 loaf French bread cubed
  • 4 eggs beaten
  • 2 cups milk
  • 3/4 cup brown sugar divided
  • 1 tsp. vanilla
  • 1 tsp. cinnamon
  • 1/4 tsp. nutmeg ground
  • chocolate sauce

Instructions

  1. Preheat your oven to 350°
  2. Place your melted butter in a 8x8 casserole dish, make sure it coats all sides and bottom.

  3. In a separate bowl, mix your eggs, milk, ½ cup brown sugar, vanilla, cinnamon, and nutmeg. Add your bread cubes and toss together lightly. Dump your mixture into the casserole dish.

  4. Sprinkle the remaining 1/4 cup brown sugar all over the top of your mixture. This will give it a nice, caramel-ish crust.

  5. Bake in the oven for approximately 20-25 minutes. It’s done when it’s bubbling on the sides and the top is brown and crispy.
  6. Top with your chocolate sauce and enjoy.
