Grasshopper Pie

This Grasshopper Pie has a yummy Oreo crust, a creamy, mint-flavored filling, and is topped with Oreo crumbs. It's such a tasty dessert!

  • 1 14 oz package regular Oreos
  • 1/4 cup salted butter, melted
  • 2 cups whipped cream
  • 7 oz marshmallow creme
  • 1/4 cup milk
  • 1/2 tsp. peppermint extract
  • 10 drops green food coloring


  1. Crush 22 Oreos in a food processor, or in a Ziploc bag with a rolling pin.

  2. In a medium bowl, combine the crushed Oreos and butter; mix well.

  3. Press the Oreo mixture into the bottom of a 9-inch pie pan and place in the refrigerator to let set.

  4. Meanwhile, gently combine the whipped cream, marshmallow creme, and milk in a large bowl until smooth.*

  5. Add the peppermint extract and the food coloring and mix well.

  6. Spread the filling on top of the pie crust and smooth over.

  7. Crush 5 Oreos and sprinkle the crumbs evenly over the pie.

  8. Serve and enjoy!

Recipe Notes

*I found that if you microwave the marshmallow creme for about 30 seconds before adding it to the whipped cream, it helps to avoid lumps.
