Homemade Bisquick Mix

With this Homemade Bisquick Mix, you'll never have to buy Bisquick again! It only requires four ingredients and tastes just like the real thing. You can substitute it in any recipe that calls for Bisquick and you can't even tell the difference.

Ingredients

  • 6 cups all-purpose flour
  • 1 Tbsp. salt
  • 3 Tbsp. baking powder
  • 1 cup vegetable shortening

Instructions

  1. Mix flour, salt, and baking powder in a large bowl.
  2. Cut in shortening with a pastry blender or whisk attachment on your stand mixer, until mixture has turned into fine crumbs.
  3. Store in an airtight container for up to 4 months.
