Preheat oven to 350ºF and grease a 9 inch deep-dish pie pan with cooking spray.

In a large skillet, cook the beef and onions over medium heat, until the meat is no longer pink. Drain fat and add tomatoes, tomato paste, salt, garlic powder, and pepper. Stir until all ingredients and combined and set aside.

In a large bowl, combine the spaghetti, butter, egg whites, and Parmesan cheese. Press into the bottom and up the sides of your prepared pie pan.

Spread the cottage cheese over the spaghetti. Top with the beef mixture, spreading evenly.

Bake, uncovered, for 20 minutes. Spread the mozzarella cheese evenly atop the beef mixture and bake for 5-10 minutes longer, until cheese is fully melted.

Let stand for 5 minutes before serving.
