Ingredients

  • 2 lbs Roma tomatoes
  • salt to taste

Instructions

  1. Preheat oven to 200ºF.
  2. Cut your tomatoes in half. Scoop out all of the seeds and throw them away.
  3. Place the tomato halves on a baking sheet and salt them to your liking.
  4. Bake for 8-10 hours, depending on how quickly your oven dries them out. You want the tomatoes to take on a leathery texture.
  5. Use as desired. Store in refrigerator.
