S'mores Krispy Treats

These S'mores Krispy Treats are made from graham cracker crumbs, instead of Rice Krispy cereal, are held together by marshmallows and butter, and topped with melted chocolate chips. They taste just like a s'more and require no baking or fire. They are such a fun summer treat!

Ingredients

  • 3 packages Honey Maid Graham Crackers
  • 1/4 cup butter {I use salted}
  • 5 cups mini marshmallows
  • 1 cup milk chocolate chips

Instructions

  1. In a food processor, pulse the graham crackers until chunky crumbs are formed. Place in a large bowl.
  2. Melt butter in a medium saucepan, over medium heat. Add marshmallows and stir continuously, melting until only a few lumps remain.
  3. Pour the marshmallow mixture over the graham cracker crumbs and stir immediately until all crumbs are coated.
  4. Quickly, press into a 9x9 inch pan and set aside.
  5. Place the chocolate chips in a microwave-safe bowl and microwave on high heat for 1 minute. Stir and heat in 15 second increments, then stir again. Repeat until chocolate chips are melted.
  6. Place the melted chips in a plastic baggie and snip a small piece of the corner off with scissors.
  7. Drizzle the chocolate over the krispy treats.
  8. Cut into pieces and serve. Otherwise, store in an airtight container immediately for up to one week.
