ReplyDeleteIf I were to wint he $400 gift card I would share the wealth with my daughter and son so that they could have a "stressless" holiday for their own children. It seems that this time of year when the utility bills escalate, groceries are more expensive and transportation costs go up with children needing to be escorted here and there, and now add Christmas presents to the list. How nice would it be to give them each $200.00 to use for Christmas goodies for their kiddos. They often talk about the little ways their dad and I made their holidays special, and it seems they don't get to make those same memories for their own chldren. This would help get the traditions started for them. Special mugs for Christmas morning cocoa, a new pair of Christmas jammies to wear while waiting for Santa to come, etc. Sure would be nice...
ReplyDeleteI'd use some of the $400 dollars to make Christmas a little better for my family this year. I'd use the rest to get some much needed items for our home.
